PTG is presenting this Carry Revolver Skills class for students who will receive well-structured\, fundamental\, and street-relevant training that will lead to a significantly greater understanding of the carry revolver’s advantages and disadvantages along with how to use them effectively in defensive situations.  \nTopics Covered \n\nRevolver selection considerations\nDaily carry methods and holsters\nLoading devices\nAmmunition selection\nStocks/grips choices\nModifications\nFundamentals of grip\, triggering and aiming with the service and compact carry revolver\nProper revolver manipulations\nThe reload and its realities\nMaintenance\nStreet-relevant drills and courses of fire to gain competence with the service and compact carry revolver\n\nEquipment List \n\nEye and ear protection\, with electronic ear protection strongly recommended\nService or compact carry revolver\, with a spare is a good idea (if possible)\, in .32 or larger caliber (.38 Special strongly preferred)\n250 – 300 rounds of standard pressure ammunition (wadcutter loads recommended to minimize recoil)\nAt least 10 rounds of your carry load\nLoading devices that you use: speedloaders\, strips\, 2X2X2 pouch\, etc.\nHolster – belt level\, either OWB\, IWB\, AIWB\nPocket holster additionally\, if normally used\nProper belt\nBrass bristled weapons cleaning brush (toothbrush style)\, standard nylon cleaning brush and bore brush/cleaning rod\nBall cap\nBandaids and any other “owie” supplies\nDrinks and snacks\nChair (recommended)
