To Dallas Pistol Club Members and guests:

Based on dozens of uncommanded discharge incidents with resulting injuries and fatalities from the Sig P320/M17/M18 pistol platform, and after reviewing several objective investigative reports and resources, the Dallas Pistol Club Board of Directors has voted to immediately prohibit the use and possession of all variants of the system such as the M17, M18, X5, AXG, and any aftermarket configurations (i.e. custom FCUs, third-party frames, etc.) on DPC property.  Additionally, no exceptions to this action are extended for any LE/Mil users of the pistol on DPC property.

This prohibition does not extend to LE only training activities that may be conducted on the Carrollton Police Department (CPD) facility under the supervision of CPD or their client LE agency personnel, so long as their training operations are strictly confined to the CPD facility.
Training operations conducted by authorized training entities that are using the CPD facility under DPC auspices are subject to this prohibition, including facility wide training operations such as the Rangemaster Tactical Conference.

Violation of this prohibition will result in disciplinary action up to and including membership revocation.

This action is taken to ensure the safety of DPC members and guests and to protect the fiduciary interests of the organization.
